摘要: Abstract We study diffusing particles in a confined liquid whose diffusion coefficient periodically varies across the sample. The limiting substrates may adsorb-desorb when memory effects are also considered. show how bulk modulation (amplitude and number of turns) affects surface distributions. regimes studied terms physical parameters governing system, we that, by controlling frequency) such limited might lead to superdiffusive, usual, or subdiffusive regimes. In other words, increasing turns amplitude changes mean square displacement over time. Fewer with large negative favors faster whereas higher positive amplitudes favor slower diffusion. This simple model help understanding behavior modulated crowded systems as cholesteric smectic crystals lamellar systems.
