The improved management of small-scale cage culture in Asia: final technical report

摘要: The purpose of the project is to develop sustained small-scale cage fish culture in inland and coastal waters through improved understanding social, institutional resource environment poor groups. Two Asian countries, Bangladesh (inland systems) Vietnam (marine), were studied with this workshop bringing together both sides representatives collaborative institutions, government departments and universities. Addressing overall aim producing guidelines for planning extension aquaculture Asia a combination group work plenary discussion was conducted following outputs. 1) An assessment potential, 2) Development options culture, 3) A review tools methodologies 4) Policy initiatives sustainable development. Key issues raised use outputs as guide be adapted regional circumstances facilitate farmer worker not rigid methodology.
