摘要: Using the widespread Eurasian perch Perca fluviatilis as a model organism, feeding ranges were investigated using stable-isotope ratios (δ15 N and δ13 C) body condition. Differences found between closely located sampling sites in littoral area without obvious migration barriers, indicating that individual fish had small ranges. Body condition differences sampled stations consistent over 4 years. Such sedentary behaviour is important to consider in, e.g. fisheries management environmental monitoring, local catch regulations may be meaningful or geographic stability locations reduce noise data.
