摘要: The Long-Term Ecological Reflections program brings together ecologists, creative writers, and philosophers at sites of long-term ecological research to advance understanding change our evolving relationship with the natural world. Developed as an analog Research (LTER) sponsored by National Science Foundation, attempts bridge sciences humanities in places like HJ Andrews Experimental Forest LTER site (Oregon) Mount St Helens (Washington State), where participants reflect, share ideas, write. Records these reflections are posted primary, raw data (eg journal entries video interviews) on a webpage, completed works published widely circulated journals. This growing body material demonstrates importance taking long view building knowledge. writings display value metaphor story communicating such knowledge public.
