摘要: DYNAMIC STIFFNESS FUNCTIONS FOR STRIP AND RECTANGULAR FOOTINGS ON LAYERED MEDIA by GEORGE GAZETAS Submitted to the Department of Civil Engineering in February 1975 partial fulfillment requirements for degree Master Science The dynamic response a rigid strip or rectangular footing perfectly bonded an elastic layered halfspace and excited horizontal and/or vertical forces rocking twisting moments is studied. solution derived using Fast Fourier Transform unit load under then integrating over width imposing condition body motion footing. results compared with known analytical solutions show very good agreement. effect rigidity rock on which soil layer(s) rests primarily investigated. converges one if has same properties as layer.
