摘要: The objective of the present study was to evaluate efficacy five different diagnostic techniques (haematouria, macro-haematouria, syringe filtration, vacuum flask filtration and sedimentation) in detection urinary schistosomiasis. Likewise, (direct smear, cellophane thick ether-formalin, modified Kato-template Kato-syringe) used intestinal schistosomiasis other parasites were evaluated using fecal samples. results showed that most efficient technique for samples is Kato-Katz technique, while ether-formalin method sensitive tool Schistosoma mansoni, Enterobius sp. Ascaris rates infection worm burden. Kato (template syringe) failed detect protozoa, Giardia lamblia Entamoeba histolytica, powerful urine test.
