Thermal diffusion in mixtures of the inert gases

摘要: Measurements have been made of the separation produced by thermal diffusion in all binary mixtures inert gases (except Kr-X and Rn mixtures) at temperatures ranging from -180 to 400 degrees C. The temperature dependence ratio, k$\_{T}$, R$\_{T}$(R$\_{T}$ = k$\_{T}$/[k$\_{T}$($\infty $)]$\_{1}$, where [k$\_{T}$($\infty $)]$\_{1}$ is theoretical value for molecules behaving like rigid elastic spheres) has deduced. results indicate that, general, R$\_{T}$ increases with lower range becomes constant high temperatures. first attained a which varies mixture mixture, but its magnitude nearly same mixtures.
