摘要: Aims To determine whether lean body mass (LBM), a possible surrogate of liver and kidney volumes, correlates with hepatic renal drug clearances. Methods Twenty-one disease-free patients history cancer normal function were studied. Salivary pharmacokinetics oral antipyrine (1200 mg) 24 h creatinine clearance determined following the determination LBM by dual energy X-ray absorptiometry volumes helical CT scanning. Results Liver volume correlated (r2=0.21, P=0.04), surface area (BSA) (r2=0.54, P<0.001), total weight (TBW) (r2=0.61, P<0.001). Kidney (r2=0.49, BSA (r2=0.43, P=0.002) TBW (r2=0.24, P=0.03). Stepwise multiple regression analysis, incorporating independent variables age, height, weight, sex, BSA, LBM, alcohol consumption, smoking status dependent variable clearance, indicated that was only correlate clearance. A stepwise analysis in variables, as variable, showed age nomogram using serum comparable Cockcroft Gault calculating clearance. Conclusions Of anthropometric tested, determinant but this not due to relationship between volume. By contrast, appeared be
