摘要: A system and method are disclosed for using tolerances obtained from a user together with historical information about communication network to analyze the network's performance calculate recommend specific change committed rate (CIR) over given frame relay permanent virtual circuit (PVC). The information, which is collected by management connected at least two devices in network, relates various parameters, may include total data transmitted, received dropped above within original CIR, burstiness of data. automatically analyzed view user's designated determine transmission performance, forward-looking recommendation an optimum CIR made, based on analysis. results analysis recommended displayed graphical format.
