摘要: African swine fever (ASF) is an acute haemorrhagic disease of domestic pigs for which there currently no vaccine. We showed that experimental immunisation with the non-virulent OURT88/3 genotype I isolate from Portugal followed by closely related virulent OURT88/1 could confer protection against challenge isolates Africa including Benin 97/1 and X Uganda 1965 isolate. This strategy protected most challenged either or both viraemia. Cross-protection was correlated ability different ASFV to stimulate immune lymphocytes immunised pigs.
