摘要: Distributed generation (DG) can be incorporated into distribution planning as an option along with traditional feeder and substation options. In place of rigid capacity rules, the process needs to incorporate more detailed simulations constraints customer damage costs because utilities now assume risk. Planning tools need simulate load variations, contingencies, dispatch control action accurately determine limits related costs. This is especially important when considering DG siting have impact on benefits utility. Equally evaluation economic risk given uncertainties such growth. Because added complexities associated these analysis techniques, must appropriate screening depth needed for particular projects, thereby making efficient use already scarce resources.
