摘要: An annotated checklist of marine fishes the Sanctuary Islands and Islets Bahia Chamela in central Mexican Pacific is presented. Records fish species were obtained by different methods including visual census, sampling with anesthetics, fisherman-nets, trawling a biological dredge. Additional records from natural history collections publications. The list comprises 196 64 families 141 genera. Carangidae most speciose family 11 species, followed Labridae 10 Pomacentridae nine. Fourteen are endemic waters, but none restricted to Chamela. dominant recorded during underwater surveys Epinephelus labriformis, Stegastes flavilatus, Halichoeres dispilus. Most tropical affinities distributed throughout eastern (123), (23), (14). Other known Indo-Pacific regions (18), western Atlantic oceans (2), some circumtropical (9). A new record Gulf Brotula Ogilbia ventralis provided for its geographical distribution extended Pacific.
