摘要: Here we show that activation of the canonical WNT/b-catenin pathway increases expression stem cell genes and promotes migratory invasive capacity glioblastoma. Modulation WNT signaling alters epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition activators, suggesting a role this process in regulation glioma motility. Using immunohistochemistry patient-derived glioblastoma samples showed higher numbers cells with intranuclear signal for b-catenin infiltrating edge tumor compared to central parenchyma. These findings suggest is critical regulator GBM invasion may represent potential therapeutic target.
