Synthesis and Photocatalytic Properties of Ce-Doped TiO 2 Nanotube Arrays via Anodic Oxidation

摘要: Ce-doped TiO2 nanotube arrays (TNAs) were prepared successfully through one-step anodic oxidation methods. The structural and morphological features of the TNAs monitored by x-ray diffraction field emission scanning electron microscopy with energy dispersive spectroscopy. Ultraviolet–visible light absorption spectra showed performances nanotubes in both ultraviolet (UV) visible regions. Also, photocatalytic activities these samples measured photodegradation rate methylene blue (MB). result indicated that doping a moderate amount cerium ions into increased obviously. However, excess would destroy tubular structure severely decrease specific surface area sharply. It could directly lead to decreasing activitity TNAs. Furthermore, best on MB reached 95.6%, which had huge improvement comparing pure
