摘要: Abstract The relationship of the important cellulase producing asexual fungus Trichoderma reesei to its putative teleomorphic (sexual) ancestor Hypocrea jecorina and other species sect. Longibrachiatum was studied by PCR-fingerprinting sequence analyses nuclear ribosomal DNA region containing internal transcribed spacers (ITS-1 ITS-2) 5.8S rRNA gene. The differences in corresponding ITS sequences allowed a grouping anamorphic (asexual) into longibrachiatum, pseudokoningii, reesei. sexual schweinitzii H. were also clearly separated from each other. T. exhibited identical sequences, suggesting close relatedness or even identity. Intraspecific interspecific variation patterns supported differentiation based on strains, assignment these strains individual species. variations between at same order magnitude as found all jecorina, but much lower than observed variations. Identical high similarity indicate very whereas show clear phylogenetic distance reesei/H. longibrachiatum. is considered be an asexual, clonal line derived population tropical ascomycete jecorina.
