摘要: ABSTRACTThis study experimentally examined the effect of sloshing on hydrodynamic responses FLNG (floating liquefied natural gas) systems during side-by-side operation. To determine influence sloshing, vessels were ballasted with solid and liquid cargo. Wave probes installed in tanks to free-surface elevation. The results show that has a pronounced roll motion relative sway motion. During operation under this ballast conditions, ranges reduced. maximum tension hawsers or fenders collision frequency also decreased. These indicate loading condition, can have beneficial motions induced loads connected system. This information will be helpful for carrying out numerical calculation optimising systems.
