摘要: The actions of 1,25-dihydroxycholecalciferol [1,25-(OH)2D3] and parathormone, both effective bone-resorptive agents in vivo vitro, were tested on CT (osteoclast-like) PT (osteoblast-like) bone cells maintained culture. Both stimulated acid phosphatase activity hyaluronate synthesis the decreased alkaline phosphatase, citrate decarboxylation, collagen cells. Calcitonin inhibited changes induced but not 1,25-(OH)2D3 differed from that parathormone one key respect: it did increase cellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate, whereas did. Prior incubation with for 6 to 24 hours made refractory effect monophosphate formation. These data suggest induce resorption by affecting same cell types (osteoblasts osteoclasts) although at different sites.
