摘要: Prosthetic devices, such as orthopedic, dental and maxillofacial prostheses, are provided which composed of an inner load bearing, functional component outer foamed or sintered porous coating selected bioengineering thermoplastics. The thermoplastic is in regions where long-term bone fixation desired by tissue ingrowth. coatings offer substantial biomechanical advantages over any material system previously reported. Also provided, anatomically shaped devices comprised totally thermoplastics with select areas; these include gap bridges, caps, alveolar ridge augmentation implants.
