摘要: Abstract A sequence of three distinct magnetic phases epitaxial ultrathin films Fe grown on fcc Co(100) surfaces have been identified using low-energy electron diffraction (LEED) and X-ray circular dichroism (XMCD). The are correlated with changes in film structure that produce different surface reconstructions, which similar to those found for Cu(100) substrates. room temperature phase diagram has determined magnetometry. For coverages below 5 ML the crystallize an fct ferromagnetic. Between 11 grows is nonmagnetic at temperature, but a live monolayer Co interface. compositional interfaces do not coincide. Above grow ferromagnetic bcc phase.
