Morphological and molecular study of Symphyla from Colombia.

摘要: The symphylans are a poorly studied group. In Colombia the number of symphylan species is unknown with only Scutigerella immaculata (Symphyla: Scutigerellidae) being reported previously. aim this research was to collect and identify pests flower crops in Colombia. Morphological descriptions showed that our specimens shared more than one characters define different genera within Scutigerellidae. COI barcode haplotype interspecific level genetic divergence causeyae (at least 23%) Hanseniella sp. (22%). Furthermore, Colombian same as some Symphyla found Cameroon indicating wide geographical distribution taxon. Our results suggest presence new genus or subgenus class Symphyla.
