摘要: Objective Because of the complexity cancer consultations, contribution patients is often limited. This systematic review examined characteristics and effectiveness patient-targeted interventions that aim to enhance patients' participation in consultation. Methods Relevant studies were selected by a search databases until mid-2010 (Pubmed, PsycINFO CINAHL), citations relevant reviews as well backward/forward citations. A Best Evidence Synthesis was performed, taking into account quality studies. Results A total 52 publications included, describing 46 30 unique interventions. One-third delivered through either written or multimedia material, two-thirds face face. Most originated from English-speaking countries. Half targeted heterogeneous populations, one-third women with breast cancer. focussed on initial treatment-planning consultations. Overall, there evidence for an effect observed patient participation. There no doctor satisfaction insufficient psychological well-being, physical well-being consultation duration. The findings turned out be largely independent study quality. Conclusions Effect could only demonstrated immediate outcomes, is, behaviour consultation.
