摘要: In this chapter, the world’s plant biodiversity is briefly introduced. It estimated that there are 340,000–390,900 species of vascular plants in 452 families on earth based informatics analysis. The number ornamental and their wild relatives to be 85,000–99,000. Four strategies conserve can distinguished, namely, situ conservation, ex sustainable uses, legal system establishment. Convention Biological Diversity other international systems, together with national or local laws regulations, mainstreaming conservation uses biological resources. Nagoya Protocol Access Genetic Resources Fair Equitable Sharing Benefits Arising from Utilization will profoundly affect collection, breeding, commercialization around world. New technologies as genome sequencing accelerate our understanding genetic diversity enhance breeding development plants.
