摘要: Abstract Neodymium (Nd) is a key element that widely applied in high-tech industries; therefore, to recover it efficiently from aqueous solutions rather important. This work examines the recovery of spiked Nd seawater media by magnetic iron oxide (Fe 3 O 4 ). A rapid increase 0.04 22.27 mg g −1 was observed when solution pH adjusted 1.98 8.22 at 298 K. maxima adsorption capacity estimated be 24.88 mg g 308 K and pH. negative change standard free energy (Δ G ° = −5.87, −6.69, −7.68 kJ mol 288, 298, 308 K, respectively) suggests spontaneous. The positive Δ H ° value (2.42 kJ mol ) supports its endothermic nature agrees with enhanced high temperatures. Besides, S (10.84 J mol  K displays randomness solid-solution interface during adsorption. More importantly, we only decreased slightly while NaCl ionic strength increased 0.001 1.0 N, implying involvement inner-sphere mechanism. These data indicated adsorbent ferrite has great potential selective fast matrix.
