摘要: We propose a novel Minimum Distance guided Genetic Algorithm (MDGA) for Multi-User Detection (MUD) in synchronous Multi-Carrier Code Division Multiple Access (MC-CDMA) broadband wireless system. In contrast to conventional GAs, our MDGA exploits adequately the output from bank of Matched Filters as guidance. It starts with balanced ratio exploration and exploitation which is maintained throughout process. A replacement strategy proposed increases dramatically convergence rate compared GAs. This allows us use simplest form genetic operators gain significant reduction computational complexity well near-optimum results. The simulation results demonstrate that scheme achieves 99.54% 50+% MUD schemes using exhaustive search GA respectively.
