摘要: Tocopherols, phytosterols, carotenoids, and squalene are present in mature seeds of Japanese quince. Yet, little is known about the relationship between these compounds oil yield during fruit seed development. The profile change lipophilic development quince cultivars “Darius,” “Rondo,” “Rasa” investigated. It shown here that development, there a significant reduction, three‐ to over tenfold, concentration minor bioactive oil. recorded delay synthesis tocopherols results logarithmic content (R² = 0.980). Similar trends observed carotenoids (R² = 0.927 R² = 0.959, respectively). fatty acids significantly changed. reduction linoleic, palmitic, gondoic levels increment oleic acid noted. content, acids, all three genotypes do not statistically last month Practical Applications: Some fruits harvested at different degrees maturity mainly due logistic issue uneven ripening fruits, which affects chemical composition whole including seeds. Therefore, it would be good know how changing plant material especially before harvest. Production continues rise year with volume generated by‐products such as This study demonstrates changes acid, tocopherols, squalene, provided information can very useful for manufactories oriented on processing by‐products, seeds, by other branches industry, instance, fruit‐processing.
