摘要: The use of bionic non-smooth surfaces is a popular approach for saving energy because their drag reduction property. Conventional structures include riblets and dimples. Inspired by sand dunes, novel variable ovoid nonsmooth structure proposed in this study. body the dimple was designed based on three size parameters, radius, semimajor, depth, 3D model created UG software. constructed dimples were placed rectangular array bottom square tube model. Following ANSYS meshing, grid imported into FLUENT, where flow characteristics calculated. Results skin friction achieved effect design parameters different obtained orthogonal testing. Various aspects mechanism discussed including distribution velocity vectors, variation boundary layer thickness, pressure distribution.
