Application of ultrasound to disperse soil aggregates of high mechanical stability

摘要: Questions remain about the exact ultrasonic energy level that is required to effectively disperse soil aggregates and what extent this accompanied by physical damage individual particles. We found maximum aggregate dispersion at levels of 1500 J cm–3 no evidence for disintegration particles < 20 μm even level. Our findings suggest sonication energies much greater than those applied conventionally can high mechanical stability.
