Spin-orbit effect on heavy impurity atoms in cubic ferromagnetic transitional alloys

摘要: The author presents a model for the determination of unquenched local moment and electrical field gradient in dilute ferromagnetic alloys transition metals. spin-orbit term is treated Hartree-Fock approximation following method proposed by Yafet (1971) Friedel's rule introduced selfconsistent impurity potentials. Results nickel are consistent with experimental data except that EFG anisotropy found experimentally to be rather small.
