摘要: Antioxidants have been suggested to alleviate the pathophysiological features of asthma, and grape seed proanthocyanidin extract (GSPE) has reported powerful antioxidant activity. This study was performed determine whether GSPE a therapeutic effect on allergic airway inflammation in both acute chronic murine model asthma. Acute asthma generated by intraperitoneal sensitization ovalbumin (OVA) with alum followed aerosolized OVA challenges, whereas induced repeated intranasal challenges fungal protease twice week for 8 weeks. administered either injection or oral gavage before challenges. Airway hyperresponsiveness (AHR) measured, evaluated bronchoalveolar lavage (BAL) fluid analysis histopathological examination lung tissue.
