摘要: This study was conducted to test if applying coarse woody debris (CWD) can increase nitrogen (N) transformation rates and N availability in cover soils, forest floor mineral soil mix (FMM) peat (PMM), commonly used for reclamation of open-pit oil sands mining disturbed land northern Alberta, Canada. Mean net mineralization nitrification were greater (p<0.05) FMM than PMM due microbial enzyme activities FMM. Applying CWD increased gross as well immobilization rates, resulting lack difference supply between near away from CWD. Using a post miningis better choice relative PMM. is recommended create spatial variability diverse microsites.
