摘要: Abstract Our purpose was to assess the effect of foot intrinsic muscle fatigue on pronation, as assessed with navicular drop, during static stance. Twenty-one healthy young adults participated. Navicular drop measured before and after fatiguing exercise plantar muscles. Surface electromyography abductor hallucis recorded maximum voluntary isometric contractions (MVIC) in order find baseline median frequency (MedF). Subjects then performed sets 75 repetitions isotonic flexion muscles against a 4.55kg weight custom pulley system. After each set an MVIC track shifts MedF. MedF shift at least 10%, measurements were repeated. exhibited 10.0±3.8mm 11.8±3.8mm ( p r =.47, =.03). The play role support medial longitudinal arch Disrupting function these through resulted increase pronation by drop.
