摘要: Since doses to skin of patients from fluoroscopically-guided interventional procedures can be very high, real-time monitoring dose is important for both patient management and quality control. The use a scintillation detector, placed on the X-ray port measure potential dose, was investigated, focusing uncertainties related technique. Sources uncertainty include performance characteristics dosemeter, errors in calibration, set-up changes during procedure. Some largest sources error source-to-skin distance, heel effect, difficulty identifying area principally exposed, calibration error, energy dependence dosemeter rate monitor. This technique found beneficial radiation management, but users must cognizant method limitations that these place control management. Knowing minimizing enhance utility
