摘要: The inhibition ability of Schiff base, 4-[(3,4-Dimethoxybenzylidene)amino]- 1,5-dimethyl-2-phenyl-1H-pyrazol-3(2H)-one on the corrosion mild steel in 2M H 2 SO 4 and HCl was studied by weight loss method.The efficiency base metal investigated at four temperatures concentrations. highest concentration 2x10-2M gave efficiencies 91%, 89%, 88%,and 60% temperatures; 30 o C, 40 60 C,and 80 C respectively medium, same concentrations under conditions 94%, 95%, 97%,and 98% C  suggesting that inhibitor performs better medium than H2SO4 high temperatures. © JASEM
