Spherical cactus-like composite based on transition metals Ni, Co and Mn with 1D / 2D bonding heterostructure for electrocatalytic overall water splitting

摘要: Abstract This paper reports that the spherical cactus-like composite NiCo2S4@δ-MnO2/NF is an effective overall water-splitting bifunctional electrocatalyst consisting of excellent electrolyzed water material 1D NiCo2S4 nanowire and 2D layered δ-MnO2. The innovative catalyst not only has advantages nanowires nanosheets, but also forms 1D/2D bonding heterostructures 3D morphology. Under synergy morphology, when electrolyte alkaline, overpotential required in oxygen evolution reaction (OER) hydrogen (HER) low. In addition, subjected to splitting a two-electrode system alkaline electrolyte, it can obtain desired current density at low overpotential. Moreover, used electrolytes with different alkalinity, demonstrates stability under electrolytes. A good industrial application prospects be expected for transition metal electrocatalyst.
