摘要: The gamma distribution functions with one shape parameter, employed to describe the parametric hydrograph, proved ineffective for upper Vistula River and middle Oder water regions. It was therefore necessary find a different function. Pearson Type IV proposed by Strupczewski two parameters were analyzed their applicability based on data acquired from 60 gauges, 30 of which located other River. parameter (parameters) time rising limb optimized calculated hydrograph widths at 50% 75% peak flow (W50 W75) as well skewness coefficient s. hydrographs compared nonparametric input regard closeness volumes position centers gravity. Both fit well. However, function did not yield exact solution since condition assumed objective met very large group pairs m n parameters. that recommended is parameter. This has an additional advantage having inflection point between W50 W75, allows use exponential or recession better describes either part hydrograph.
