摘要: This study aims to investigate effect of nanoclay on resistance the exposed clay soils in freezing vitro conditions. The sample was selected from considered land. Then they were mixed water 1.5, 3, 4.5 and 6 percents as well without nanoclay. There prepared cylinders with 3.81 cm diameter 7.62 height, which have been placed conditions freezing, one cycle, two cycles three freezing. tested under uniaxial experiment. analyzed by SPSS software. results show that adding will reduce soil strength during cycles. It can be occurred because result increase special surface samples; consequently, increasing electrical load increases absorption, it partly cause non-effective resistance. is also a significant difference between pressure lower humidity those higher humidity. confirms decreases level, absorption samples reason decreasing strength. an inverse relationship nano its may electricity samples’ plasticity. expected permeability decline their liquid doughiness limit rate due presence nanoclay.© JASEM Keywords : Nanoclay, Resistance, Freezing, Sample, Uniaxial
