摘要: Spinning reserve (SR) is one of the most important resources used by system operators to maintain security, but excess amount SR which goes against economy must be avoided. A new unit commitment model proposed in paper, adds expected customer interruption cost (ECOST) into objective function. Thus a pretty tradeoff between security and can achieved while total minimized. Instead determining requirement according predefined risk index, automatically determine optimal capacity making compromise ECOST operation cost. Based on probabilistic nature uncertainties such as generator outages, etc., energy not supplied (EENS) expressed simplified variables so optimize generation simultaneously commitment. Then, transformed mixed-integer linear programming problem solved large-scale commercial optimization software. Case studies indicate that effective capacity.
