摘要: Background:  Skin swellings are the most frequent symptoms in hereditary angio-oedema (HAE) arising out of C1-inhibitor (C1-INH) deficiency. They may be painful and impact daily activities patients. Detailed clinical data concerning treatment skin by C1-INH concentrate have not been reported yet. Methods:  From 1976 through 2007, a total 2104 skin-swelling attacks 47 patients with HAE were treated concentrate. Time to relief duration documented during personal interviews using standardized questionnaires. The results compared 9046 untreated same patients. Results:  first sign efficacy was slowdown progress accompanied decreased feeling tension pain swollen area. mean time 1.1 ± 1.4 h 50.4 ± 33 h swellings. Improvement facial took longer than extremities, genitals or trunk. 1.7 day 3.2 day ones. In swellings, there long-lasting control no rebound within 48 h following drug administration laryngeal oedema observed. No severe side-effects occurred. Conclusions:  has proven highly effective safe for treating
