摘要: The olfactory bulb is the first relay station of central system in mammalian brain and contains a few thousand glomeruli on its surface. Individual represent single type odorant receptor, glomerular sheet forms receptor maps. This chapter summarizes spatial organization receptor-representing maps rodent bulb, focusing (1) domain each map, (2) “intrabulbar projections” tufted cell axons that precisely topographically connect lateral medial maps, (3) molecular feature clusters (4) functional compartmentalization
