摘要: Abstract Experimental studies were conducted to understand the flow boiling CHF (critical heat flux) characteristics of a magnetite-water nanofluid for wide range exit qualities, especially intermediate and relatively high qualities. In contrast previous studies, qualities was considered various heating lengths, mass fluxes, inlet sub-cooling. enhancement observed when quality low DNB-like thermal crisis occurred: these results consistent with reporting delay in DNB using nanofluids. Meanwhile, this did not occur annular an LFD-type occurred. This is expected under LFD condition because phenomena are nearly unaffected by surface conditions. As increased from 0.07 0.74, amount gradually decreased approached zero. conclusion, quality.
