摘要: Abstract Background Recent studies reveal that nerve growth factor (NGF) plays a critical role in the pathobiology of pulmonary hypertension (PH). The aim present study is to clarify relationship between NGF signaling and treatment with PDGF or ROCK inhibitors an animal model PH. Methods Lung tissues were obtained from animals monocrotaline (MCT)-challenged PH which had been administered long term imatinib, fasudil statin. Reversal disease was indicated by decreases right ventricle pressure (RVP) hypertrophy. expression examined at mRNA protein levels using quantitative real-time PCR reaction ELISA. Results MCT significantly increased content lung tissue. inhibitor (fasudil) (imatinib) caused significant when alone, no further effects noted used combination. Conclusion beneficial reversal MCT-mediated inhibition may be also partially mediated decreased signaling.
