摘要: Mucosal associated invariant T (MAIT-) cells represent a semi-invariant cell population responsive to microbial vitamin B metabolite and innate cytokine stimulation, executing border tissue protection particularly contributing human liver immunity. The impact of immunosuppressants on MAIT biology alone in context with solid organ transplantation has not been thoroughly examined. Here, we demonstrate that vitro activation peripheral from healthy individuals was impaired by glucocorticoids, whereas antigen-specific stimulation additionally sensitive calcineurin inhibitors. In transplant (LTx) recipients, significant depletion observed largely independent the type dosage immunosuppression, equally applied tolerant patients, reproducible kidney recipients. However, LTx patients exhibited markedly diminished ex vivo signature, individual regain functional competence toward antigenic stimulation. Still, treated recipients high levels PD1, accompanied impairment bacterial also affected polyfunctionality. Our data suggest interlinked effects primary pathology immunosuppressive treatment overall fitness after propose their monitoring tolerance induction protocols.
