摘要: Abstract Zostera noltii and marina var. angustifolia turfs have been transplanted on a pilot trial scale with initial success sheltered estuarine mudflats in carefully selected areas Norfolk Suffolk, Great Britain. Transplanting can be carried out suitable where mud surface changes level of at least ± 7 cm per year or 3 week occur. The results suggest that Z. growth is favoured very close balance between the forces erosion accretion occures. Field transplanting appears to feasible approaching 1 ha size cost about £1 000 (1973 prices). Suitable not already colonised by may limited European coasts feasibility additional costs creating engineering structures has yet explored. Initial single turion planting are encouraging. If proved successful, this method could greatly reduce transplanting.
