摘要: Rabbits were either splenectomized or subjected to splenic blockade with phenylhydrazine in order determine the platelet and megathrombocyte (large-platelet) pools. The average pool calculated from both methods was 35% of total platelets. 54% megathrombocytes. Adrenaline injection into rabbits dogs revealed a rapid increase count number which peaked at 2-6 min returned toward normal 5-10 min. volume distribution curve shifted right, indicating release large platelets (megathrombocytes) circulation. peak rise significantly greater than count. massage their right absence It is concluded that spleen preferentially sequesters
