摘要: OBJECTIVE. The purpose of this study was to describe endorectal sonography and color Doppler features nonpalpable prostate cancer assess the value MR imaging for preoperative local staging these tumors.MATERIALS AND METHODS. Ninety-four patients with nonsuspicious findings on digital rectal examination a mean prostate-specific antigen level 16.3 ± 10 ng/mL (median, 13 ng/mL) underwent sonography, sextant sonographically guided biopsy, before radical prostatectomy.RESULTS. Tumors were visible in 48 cases not 46. Gleason biopsy score, frequency tumors involving three sextants or more gland at biopsies, stage pT3 significantly higher (5.9 0.9, 42%, 37.5%) than those invisible (5.4 1.1, 17%, 17%). 42 hypervascular hypoechoic every ca...
