Glow-spark switching by a dielectric wall in a pin-to-electrolyte discharge

摘要: In this paper, the shape, sound, and current of an electrical discharge in air between a metal pin electrolyte solution are studied. Two different situations considered: (A) without, and, (B) with inclusion dielectric wall circuit. It is found that: (1) A has cylindrical shape rather than branched B, (2) sound case coherent deterministic but those B incoherent stochastic. These differences along simulation results simple model demonstrate that glow, but, spark.
