摘要: A new friction counterpart for carbon fiber-reinforced silicon carbide ceramic-matrix composites (C/SiCs) and zirconia (ZrO2) toughened by magnesia ceramics is proposed. The effects of the C/SiC surface processing parameters on tribological performance are investigated under dry ambient temperature conditions. wear tests carried out using pin-on-disc method. Scanning electron microscopy (SEM) an instrument equipped with energy dispersive spectroscopy (EDS) used to observe surfaces pins discs before after application reveal mechanism. results show that influenced properties significantly. When pressure 30 N, speed 0.5 m/s, ground 1500# sandpaper, best among samples considered herein. It found retention ability counterparts tribology
