摘要: Incorporating the views and perceptions of local farmers other actors with stakes in agricultural production is critical for better-informed decision making tackling pressing issues, such as soil degradation. We conducted a study that sought to integrate analyze regarding quality degradation soils across different social sectors Mexico, including producers two annual crops (maize beans) perennial (coffee avocado), members civil society organizations Federal Government. analyzed community perception using Cognitive Maps network metrics. Our fully documented method formally gather regional can be used future efforts towards collective design sustainable food systems. results highlighted common potentially conflicting aspects among allowed us identify discuss drivers processes special interest regions Mexico. This also contributes deeper understanding current situation Mexico seeks inform decision-making process management country.
