摘要: Survey measures of attention, in addition to the usual exposure media use, are explored detail. Using data from a two-year longitudinal study adolescents and their parents, reliability validity self-report questions about attention newspaper television news examined. Attention proved be highly stable across three waves interviews; repeated items were summed form reliable indices each medium's news, general topics without specific mention medium. Changes knowledge public affairs politics assessed test effects both news. These tests showed significant increments gain associated with even after medium was controlled hierarchical regression analysis. Addition especially important evaluating which contributes much more than has been suggested by previous studies that use only TV exposure.
