摘要: The early second instar larvae of Toxoneuron nigriceps, a larval endoparastioid Heliothis virescens, were incubated in artificial rearing media, supplemented with hemolymph the unparasitized and parasitized fifth host, H. virescens. parasitoid both semisolid liquid form medium, their growth development evaluated. size (increase length width), (molting), survival observed for 10 days. exhibited some level all nine types media tested, including control (without host hemolymph). However, ingesting from late (day 5, 7 9) resulted 100% molting to third instars. Some vitro reared demonstrated behavioral changes that could be interpreted as preparation cocoon formation or pupation i.e. oral secretion whitish material lots twisting turning; however, none produced nor pupa.
